Description

Everest Base Camp Helicopter tour is an alternative tour for those people who want to see the Mount Everest from very close. This tour is a day tour. You can complete this tour within 3-4 hours of time duration. In this short duration, you will fly to Kala Patthar/Everest Base Camp for a breathtaking view of Mt. Everest.
First, you will land at Lukla port for fueling. After 10-15 minutes of break, you fly to Kala Patthar/Everest Base Camp.
Kalapathar, 5643 meters is the most popular viewpoint of Mt. Everest. Hiking to Kalapathar for the sunrise view when yellow streams of sunrays hit the soft white snow over Everest, it’s heavenly!! From Kalapathar, you’ll also get the best views of Khumbu glacier and the Khumbu Icefall.
Kala Patthar is a viewpoint for sightseeing of surrounding mountains. You can see mountains such as Mt Everest,  Mt. Lhotse, Pumori, Ama Dablam, Gaurisanker, and many others.
From Kalapathar, the helicopter flies towards the Everest View Hotel. You will land at the hotel to have a scenic breakfast. The panorama of the gigantic Himalayan ranges seen from the hotel is admirable.
The Everest View Hotel is a hotel situated at the highest altitude in the world. At the hotel, you can have breakfast or lunch. You will see fascinating panoramas of Mt. Everest and Ama Dablam. The entire Everest mountain range looks stunning from the hotel.
After having breakfast, the helicopter flies back towards Kathmandu via Lukla.
